Pioneer Sports Hoof Boot Rear Captivator

The Pioneer Sports Rear Captivator is engineered to follow the natural contours of the pastern area while providing the support needed to keep the boot in place through all paces. Its shape works with the boot’s self-adjusting system, allowing the hoof to move, expand and load correctly while maintaining stability. As part of the unique fitting system, the rear captivator height and position can be adjusted to suit the horse’s individual conformation, to achieve a close fit and ensure the boots stay in place. The captivator’s structure, together with the rear captivator cushion (sold separately) distributes pressure evenly, reducing rubs and enhancing comfort for long rides, schooling sessions and varied terrain. The rear captivator must not be used without the rear captivator cushion.
